My son is growing radishes for a school experiment and I noticed that on the seed pack, it said that they preferred growing in cool temps. When do you move yours outside?
They do like cool spring weather, you're right. Once I get "true" leaves in a week or two, it will be the berfect time for them to go in the ground. I'll keep you posted!
These photos are delightful. I love love love watching the moments when little greenies begin.
I have to admit I'm more than a wee bit jealous of your southern local and the fact that you can start these sort of things now. I need to wait a couple more weeks before I can think about any little seedlings of my own.
These little radish-lets are like my babies! Suzanne, you could start something indoors. Pick up a mini greenhouse with peat pods at a place like Lowe's.
I LOVE radishes!
I wish I had some garden space. It's just not the same having window boxes.
